I follow some blogs on bloglines.com (a fast, convenient way to keep track of my favorite blogs), and I saw this great looking lemon meringue tart on a blog called Culinary Concoctions by Peabody. The meringue peaks are crazy and cool. They call them Texas Big Hairs. I know several people (including myself) who could use a little cheering up. I think this could do the trick. I made this post because I want to come back and make this sometime when I have time. G has whipping egg whites down pat. He makes a light meringue when he makes waffles and folds it into the waffle batter. It's funny how so many things that I thought I made better than G, he has taken and perfected (like waffles, french toast, meatloaf, etc). I should ask him to cheer me up by making these tarts- or even just making an old fashioned lemon meringue pie. The boys would love it.Thursday, November 02, 2006
