Happy Birthday Macho Man!

Only a macho man can get away with that powder pink dress shirt and that tie. The boys wanted to know what a macho man was. I said, "a strong, confident man." They said they both wanted to be macho men. Jon said he was almost a macho man.

Well, Dada, it's almost been four decades now. Enjoy being in single vision glasses for just a while longer because bifocals are around the corner. I'm glad your hair is back. That length is perfect for you. The touch of gray gives you credibility. I love you in a tie. You look so dignified. Jer. 29:11 says, "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not calamity to give you a future and a hope." It will be neat to see what God is going to do in your life. You have more potential to shine than anyone I know (with the exception of our boys who I think will outshine us both). I really believe that about you. You are going to do great things. You just have to believe it too.

Look at that young stud! You still look like a stud to me...
