First Broken Window

Our family had our first broken window. I am sure there will be more. G and the boys were practicing their hitting. We have a pitching machine that pitches those plastic wiffle ball type baseballs. Jon was up to bat. I was sitting on the long glider rocker, and Gray was sitting on the small glider rocker rocking. Jon hit one hard, and I heard the ting of glass cracking. We looked over at the window, and sure enough it was broken. It was almost eight in the evening when this happened. We went inside so Gray wouldn't get at the glass. I had the boys pray and thank God for double pane windows. This is something that can wait until tomorrow to deal with. The Pella metal blinds must have prevented the inside pane from breaking. I was thinking about removing those blinds and having nice wooden shutters installed. I have decided that we should wait a long time before doing that. I have a feeling that these three boys will break another window or two.
