We went to Austin this past weekend to see Aunt Chrissy and Uncle R. We've been praying for Uncle R because he had a heart transplant last week. Please pray for him because it has been touch and go. He and Chrissy have been together since before G and I got married ten years ago.A new tradition is that we will go to Toy Joy whenever we go to Austin. G took the boys there the last time we were in Austin. I couldn't go because I was getting CE. This time I did go, and I was
glad. It is an awesome store with so many cool toys. Right next door is Dhaba Joy where I got a regular Americano to drink while I perused the toys. We let the boys pick out one toy to buy. Gray got a frog pen that lights up and also croaks. Jer got a magnifying glass that had little alligator clips to hold things under the glass for better viewing. Jon got three pirate patches and a pirate hacky sack (each patch was only .99 so I let him get more than one thing). We got there right at opening at 10am, and it was very quiet. It didn't take long for it to get pretty crowded. There were more grown ups there than kids. It will be fun when I can look through the toys without constantly making sure Gray isn't breaking something.
