Running Toward a Dream

Like I was saying, Proverbs 31 Ministries is right where I'm at. Today's post is called Running Toward a Dream.

Here is an excerpt;
"Do you have a dream tucked in your heart?

I suspect you do.

Sweet sister, bring your dream, whatever it is, back out into the light of day and press on.

Each part of the journey was essential. All the rejection letters. All the prayers. All the soul searching to check my motives. All the input from family and friends. All the studying and reading and researching. All the discouragement, and all the encouragement.

It was all part of it. - - - - Step by step.

And looking back, I wouldn't have it any other way. After all, it was never really about getting a book published. It was about gaining a deeper relationship with God along the way."

This picture was taken about the time when I first came to know the Lord. I was kind of a weird kid, and I was always a dreamer. I think if I could show that little girl with gi-normous glasses how her life was turning out, she'd be pretty impressed, but I've got a very tangible dream that I am pursuing. The way things are now, it's all good. Yet, if I don't "go for it", I'll always regret not trying to get my big dream. So come what may, I am "all in."
