When we picked the older two boys from Children's Church, the leader said that she had a picture of Jonathan that she just had to give me. It makes me happy to see it. He is so genuine and 100% with everything. Sometimes he says things that really touch my heart. God is going to do big things in his life. We went to our favorite Korean restaurant in San Antonio on Thursday. I enjoyed every mouthful. The waitresses always ask about Jonathan. Working class Korean women are not bashful to ask about an elephant in any room. "He you son? He koo-ree-uhn?" I told them yes, and that his Korean name is Moon, Tae Sung, and that he was born in Kwangju. One of the waitresses said that Tae means big. She stretched out her arms and said "Biiiggg." She drew the symbol for Tae and it was a stick man with arms stretched wide. I thought that was cool and definitely descriptive of Jonathan. He does everything with enthusiasm. Right now I am
thinking lawyer or CEO, but there is plenty of time to decide all that.Tonight I was craving kimchi jigae (kimchi stew). Normally it calls for pork belly, but I left that out. I did add a little bit of some bacon drippings that we had in our fridge. We didn't have tofu, so I added some eggs for protein (in much the same way as when you make Chinese egg drop soup or hot and sour soup). I think soup is kind of like salad in that it always tastes better if someone else has made it. Not this time. This was good!

Maybe Jonathan will be a missionary to Korea-maybe he'll even wear a fanny pack! I love the photo and can just really see his heart.
