First Day of Third Grade

I am trying to catch up on some scrapbooking kind of posts. This was the first day of school this year. The smiles look plastered on, but it was a fairly early morning for the boys. They're doing well in their classes. Jonathan has only received one write up so far (that's good for him). Both boys did well on their spelling test last week. Spelling seems to be coming easily for Jonathan. It's a little more of a challenge for Jeremy, but he's a dedicated student, and he studies hard. He has noticed that Jonathan is a natural. He asked me, "why is it so easy for him?" I just said spelling must be one of his talents. I remember having a hard time in spelling even into fourth grade. I kept wanting to spell people with an "a"- peaple.
