I've been busy. No really. Busy. After vacillating between trying to sell so I can stay at home (never could find a serious buyer) and thinking about going big and starting my own practice, I've made a completely different move. I will be working for the most successful person in my field in my town. She has made me a great offer, and her practice is amazing. Here is the picture she is going to use for her webpage and the newspaper announcement she is going to run. I whitened and brightened my eyes and teeth, and don't think I didn't airbrush some wrinkles out. Hey, if we have the technology, why not use it?The boys are all enjoying their summer. I'll try to get more pictures up. Jon and Jer are outside squealing and having fun. They have wrestled a bug into climbing up a string Jon is holding. They are loving it. Oh to be so overjoyed by such simple matters. Gray is taking a nap, and G is doing some yard stuff. It's a nice day. I think the high is going to be 84 and the low tonight is going to be 64. I can actually relax.
I really like this new office that I've started working in. One thing that may take some getting used to is that there is music playing in the office. So it's kind of weird when I'm giving an exam, and Hotel California is playing in the background. So it's like, "which is better, 1 or 2?" and "...you just can't kill the beast..." plays in the background. Or it was funny when I was trying to be professional and I heard Janet Jackson singing Nasty Boys. "...Ms. Jackson if you're nasty..." I should strip off my business jacket and break into a dance routine the next time it comes on. "Gimme a beat!"
I'll work 4 1/2 days on my new schedule- Monday through Friday with Friday afternoons off. I go in at 9am, and I should be pulling into the driveway before 6pm. The best part is that I don't need to worry about employee issues or managing a practice. I just show up and see patients. Ahhh. I just sighed in contentment and relief.
