Quick Pizza

We helped out in Children's Church today. It was kind of fun. After church when we got home, we were scratching our heads trying to decide what to make for lunch. It needed to be quick and something the boys would eat. They were turning down all the usual suggestions. Quesadillas? Ramen? Sandwiches? We took a quick inventory and realized we had two cans of Pillsbury crescent rolls that I had purchased for New Years meal that I had decided not to make. G suggested that we make roll ups with pepperoni. Then I got an idea. I'm sure it's been done before, but I decided to make pizza slices by unrolling each crescent roll and putting some pizza sauce on top (we happened to have a can of Muir Glen pizza sauce). The green pepper and onion pizza was for me and G, and the cheese pizza was for the boys. Of course they loved it because kids like those canned biscuit things. With pizza sauce, cheese, and good bread it's hard to go wrong with kids.

The boys are watching Nature right now with G. It's a family ritual. Every Sunday night at 7pm we watch Nature. This one is about Cheetahs.
