Two REMs?

Chris Anderson, the editor-in-chief of Wired Magazine, spent much of his 20's as a university flunk out working as a messenger in DC. During that time he was in a band called REM. At that same time there was another relatively unknown band called REM, and the owner of a club asked them both to have a concert "duel" of sorts.
