Labor Day Weekend

It seems the only time I have to write is when I'm tired, and I'm just too pooped to be articulate or write all that I had intended.

We had a great Labor Day weekend. We decided spontaneously to drive to Carlsbad. The boys have never been to the caverns. Gray was so quiet in the cave. He was scared, but he tried to be a big boy. He held on tight to my hand or let me hold him tight. I loved it. Greg held him mostly because he's getting so heavy!

On the road trip I read this book that Greg gave me for our tenth anniversary. He gave me The Money Map by Howard Dayton and Night Lights (a couples devotional by Dobson). I brought The Money Map with me, and it seems pretty good. One thing that really struck me is that everything we have really belongs to God. Today I super cleaned our bathroom and purged a bunch of junk. I felt convicted that we aren't taking care of His house like we should.

Today I took a break to watch some Youtube (big shocker). I watched some Nigella Lawson videos. She's gorgeous. She's also quite thick around the hips, and she's quite top heavy. It made me wonder if maybe I shouldn't shoot so much for an extra lean figure.

I made these chocohotpots, and they are so very rich. They are almost too chocolaty and rich. They are something like those lava chocolate cakes with a gooey, pudding like center. Grayson and Jonathan did not like them, but Jeremy, who has a sweet tooth and loves chocolate like I do, ate all of his.
