Super Suppers!

I love this! Super Suppers is a place where they do once a month type cooking, but they've done all the prep work and put together the recipes. You just show up with a cooler or a laundry basket to put all your dinners in. You can prepare up to twelve entrees. There are twelve stations with all the ingredients and the recipes. My friend and her husband put together twelve entrees in an hour and a half. They change the menu every month. I chose to have them prepare the dishes for me. It costs $25 for them to do that, but we are so short on time right now that it was so worth it. I showed up and they had everything ready for me with labels with my name on them in every entree "bag" or casserole. I know what you're thinking. Eww, casseroles. But not everything in the casserole dishes are actually casseroles. Click here to read this months menu. The entrees are things like Chicken Satay With Peanut Sauce, Shrimp Chicken and Artichoke Bake, Braised Pork Chops With Curried Fruit, Santa Fe Soft Tacos, and Chicken A La Florentine Braided Bread. Tonight we had Meatball Minestrone Soup, and it was dee-li-shus. It wasn't cheap, but right now we need some time savers. I met a personal chef who has a degree in something culinary from the hotel and restaurant college at Tech, and she is going to go over how she does this kind of thing. If it is in the same price range, we might give her a try. But I dunno. Super Suppers gets two thumbs up!
