I also put the picture of the tulips in here. I took this picture a couple of days ago. I love how they opened up. This morning they look too wilty. They're so beautiful, but I guess they don't last very long. Wonder if it's something I did or if that's just how tulips are. Maybe those tulip fields in Holland only look pretty for just a little while. Maybe I should clip them and save the bulbs in the fridge? Anyone know?

Update at 7:30am: Hey, I just checked Doug Ross' webpage, and he has a link to this cool site where you can see a real time simulation of what the earth looks like from the viewpoint of the sun. If you click over, you can get to where you are. We clicked over to where we are, and the line between daytime and nightime was over us. We looked out our East window and watched the "sunrise" as we would refresh the page. Because it is a simulation, it can't say what the cloud cover actually is, but it is in real time (I don't think google maps has any place where you can see things in "real time", or does it?). We're having an overcast day, so it wasn't as dramatic because we can't see the sun (that picture of Jon is without flash because I couldn't use the flash and still get a shot of the outside, and we were in a hurry). But it was still cool for the boys to hopefully understand how daytime and nightime works- the sun and Earth's rotation, etc. I asked Jer, who is in kindergarten, which planet we live on. He said, "Texas!"

I completely understand how he can insist on using a fork and sitting at the table and still want his bottle. I don't think that's unusual. I know at the daycare they were critical of babies using bottles past a certain point, but I have no idea what the experts say. I'll have to consult Dr. Brazelton. He's a favorite, like Mr. Rogers but a doctor instead of a television host. I'm proud of Grayson - except when he pulls Sasha's hair - for always wanting to push himself (which I think he comes by naturally, because I'm sure you were just like that). Don't forget to get him a baby swing for the next time I go =). How cute would that be? Your three boys all swinging at the same time!
The Earth site is cool. Jeremy surely is a true Texan! I've heard people talk of it as if it was its own country, but I've never heard anyone make the jump to planet. Give him a kiss from me for saying that!
Yah, I'm not too worried about the bottle thing. This morning when Jeremy said that thing about yellow roses, I thought that was cool. Now that I read it in my blog, it sounds made up, but he really did out of the blue ask about that. I guess he's a Texan through and through.
