Health-Care Coverage

Health insurance has been on my mind. We have a private policy with Golden Rule which is one of the best private insurance companies. So far they have been very good. They have great customer service, and we just haven't had any problems. But they are making a ton from us. We have a very high deductable, and we pay a lot-- A LOT in premiums.

I am wanting to offer group health insurance to my employees. It's not easy to find a good plan. This article is interesting. You can get health insurance from Sam's Club?! Interesting. The thing is, I want a GOOD insurance company. I just don't know how GOOD insurance from Sam's Club would be.

I've heard of the Health Savings Accounts. All I know is that at the end of every year we get tackled with patients at my office wanting to be seen so they don't lose the money in their HSAs. With some HSAs if you don't use the money for healthcare needs by the end of the year, you lose it. This article mentions that there are some plans where the money could also fund retirement. I'll have to look into that.
